William “Bill” Lay, 77 of Hillsboro died Sunday, August 8, 2010 at the Crestwood Nursing Center. 
He was born Nov. 1, 1932 in Somerset, Ky., the son of the late Walter and Grace Lay Brown. 
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Father Mike Paraniuk at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 10 at St. Mary Catholic Church in Hillsboro. 
Burial will follow in St. Mary Catholic Cemetery in Cincinnati, Ohio. There will be no visitation. 
The Turner & Son Funeral Home is serving the family.
