Wanda I. Heaton, 57, of Hillsboro, died Saturday, April 24, 2010 at the Highland District Hospital.
She was born at Dayton, Ohio on Oct. 24, 1952, the daughter of Billy W. and Helen I. (Stone) Helterbrand. 
Besides her parents, she is survived by her husband David Heaton of Hillsboro; one daughter, Toni Metcalf of Hillsboro; two grandchildren, Seth and Zachary Metcalf; one brother and sister-in-law, Billy Wayne and Darlene Helterbrand of Hillsboro; two sisters and brother-in-law, Cindy and Rodney Bayless of Hillsboro and Juanita Doughman of Hillsboro; and a lifelong friend, Crystol Bussard.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, April 29, 2010 at 1 p.m. at Thompson Funeral Home in Hillsboro with Mr. Gary Smith officiating. Burial will be at the Family Cemetery on Carmel Road.
Friends may call on Thursday from noon till service time at 1 p.m. at the Thompson Funeral Home.
Memorials may be made to the Thompson Funeral Home, 241 E. Main St., Hillsboro, Ohio 45133.
