Vivian Eileen Gossett, 82, of Hillsboro died Friday, January 22, 2010 at her home surrounded by her family. 
She was born March 4, 1927 in Columbus, the daughter of the late Harry and Eva Cross Carey. 
Mrs. Gossett was a homemaker and a member of the Pricetown Church of Christ. 
She is survived by her husband, Donald Gossett whom she married on April 3, 1945; two sons, Daniel Dwight (Wanda) Gossett of Xenia, and Kenneth Joe Gossett of Hillsboro; one daughter, Sheila (John Botti) Gossett of Columbus; five grandchildren, Tracy (Jim) Stadler of Beavercreek, Kelly (Daryn) Boyer of Germany, Jenny
(Christian) Penrod of Richmond, Ind., Trevor Gossett Botti of Columbus, and Andrew Gossett Botti of Columbus; nine great-grandchildren; one sister, Lou Carey of Columbus; and one brother-in-law, Norris Gossett of Hillsboro. 
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one daughter-in-law, Gayle Hutchins Gossett. Services will be held 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 26 at the Pricetown Church of Christ. Leo Kuhn and Daryl Mount will
officiate. 
Burial will follow in the Barker Cemetery in Pricetown. Friends may call on Monday from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the Pricetown Church of Christ. 
Memorial contributions may be made to the Pricetown Church of Christ, 2070 S. R. 131, Hillsboro, Ohio 45133 or to Community Care Hospice, P.O. Box 123, Wilmington, Ohio 45177.
