Viva M. Lewis, 89, of Hillsboro passed away Friday, Aug. 13, 2010 at The Laurels of Hillsboro in Hillsboro.
She was born Dec. 12, 1920 in Highland County, the daughter of the late Jesse Roscoe and Bertha Ellen (Hottinger) Lewis.
She was a member of the Willettsville Christian Union Church.
Surviving are a grandson, Don (Marian) Lewis of Lynchburg; a granddaughter, Cheryl Storer of Lynchburg; and three great-grandsons, Chad Storer, Larry Storer and Adam Perry.
Services will be held 11 a.m., Tuesday, Aug. 17 at Rhoads-Edgington Funeral Home, 138 East Main Street, Hillsboro, with John Porter officiating. Interment will follow in the Dunkard Ridge Cemetery. 
Friends will be received at Rhoads-Edgington Funeral Home, Hillsboro, from 10-11 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 17.
