Virginia Mae (Brewer) Bedwell, 76, of Greenfield, died Monday, Feb. 22, 2010 at Hearth and Care of Greenfield.
She was born Sept. 14, 1933 in Leesburg, the daughter of the late Rev. Harley and Mabel (Current) Brewer.
She was a homemaker and a former employee of the General Telephone Company in Greenfield and the U.S. Shoe Factory. She was also a 1952 graduate of the Edward Lee McClain High School. She was a member of the Red Bud Chapel Church in Bainbridge.
She is survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and many close friends.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence E. Bedwell, who passed away on July 23, 1988; and four brothers, Williard Brewer, Harold Brewer, Kenneth Brewer, and John Brewer.
Services will be held 11 a.m. Friday, Feb. 26, 2010 at the Murray-Fettro Funeral Home with Pastor Wayne Combs officiating. Burial will follow at the Greenfield Cemetery. A visitation will be held Thursday, Feb. 25 from 4-6 p.m.
