Valenna Jewel (Clay) Reeder, 80, of Goshen, died Friday, Oct. 22, 2010 at Heartland of Hillsboro.

She was born in Adams County, Ohio on July 12, 1930 in Winchester, the daughter of the late Nathan and Pauline (Davis) Clay.
She was a graduate of Peebles High School, class of 1948, and a member of the Newtonsville Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband Johnny Reeder and brothers William (Bill) Clay and Norman (Buzzard) Clay.
She is survived by a daughter, Melissa (Fred) Shelton of Hillsboro, four grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, sisters-in-law, and nieces and nephews.
