Stephen Eugene Drummond, 52, of South Salem, died Friday, Nov. 6, 2009 at the Greenfield Area Medical Center.
He was born January 17, 1957 in Washington C.H., Ohio, the son of Clarence Eugene and Mabel (Shoemaker) Drummond.
He was a lifelong farmer and a 1975 graduate of the Edward Lee McClain High School, as well as a 1980 graduate of the Ohio State University School of Agriculture. He was a member of South Salem Presbyterian Church.
He is survived by his wife, Carol Ann (Weyrich) Drummond, whom he married Dec. 5, 1981; one son, Stephen E. Drummond, of South Salem; one daughter, Jennifer M. (Joshua P.) Drummond-Singleton, of Peebles; one brother, Duane Anthony Drummond, of Frankfort, Ohio; and one nephew, Michael Drummond of Frankfort.
He was preceded in death by his father.
Services will be held 1 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 11, 2009 at the Murray-Fettro Funeral Home in Greenfield, with burial to follow in the South Salem Cemetery. A visitation will be held 4-8 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 10, 2009.
