Ronald David Page, 91, of Hillsboro, passed away Sunday, Sept. 15, 2024 at Legacy of Hillsboro.
 
He was born Feb. 10, 1933 in Fayette County, the son of Donald and Ruth (Hall) Page.  
 
He was a 1951 graduate of Edward Lee McClain High School and served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He was a member of the Chapel of Hope Church in Greenfield and liked to camp and travel.
 
He retired from Lebanon Correctional Institute in 1993 and was previously a State Trooper, insurance investigator and a lifelong farmer.
 
He is survived by one son, Randy (Connie) Page of Hillsboro; one daughter, Rhonda Page of Chillicothe; one stepdaughter, Cindy (Jim) Orebaugh of Greenfield; one stepson, Philip (Melanie) Dawes of Greenfield; three grandchildren, Meghan (Ryan) Zink of Vandalia, Ryan (Ashley) Page of Hillsboro and Wyatt Page of Hillsboro; two great-grandchildren, Raylan Page and Stetson Page; two step-great-grandchildren, Baily (Austin) Ary and Joshua Robinson; one step-great-great-granddaughter, Emersyn Ary; sister-in-law, Roberta Douglas of Wilmington; and caregiver, Ashley Bumgarner of Hillsboro.
 
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Bernice Douglas Page, on Jan. 20, 1981; second wife, Phyllis Page, on Sept. 29, 2023; one brother, Eldon Page; one brother-in-law, Harley Douglas; step-granddaughter, Jennifer Michaels; and both parents.
 
Funeral service will be Saturday, Sept. 21 at 1 p.m. at the Murray-Fettro Funeral Home in Greenfield, beginning with a veterans appreciation service, then Pastor Randy Abbott to officiate. Military rites will be provided by the Concerned Veterans of Greenfield. Cremation will follow, and burial of cremains will be in the Gilboa Cemetery at the convenience of the family.
 
Visitation will be Saturday from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. at the funeral home.
