Rick Washburn, 28, of Bainbridge, died Sunday, June 6, 2010 as a result of an ATV accident near Chillicothe.
He was born Aug. 22, 1981 in Hillsboro, the son of the late Rick and Karen Jean (Luman) Washburn.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his grandfather, Howard Washburn, and grandfather, James Luman.
Rick was a 2000 graduate of Greenfield McClain High School and the Laurel Oaks Vocational School with an AMP License. He was an avid outdoorsman who loved motorcycles and hunting.
He is survived by one sister and brother-in-law, Kelley and Rob Nicely of Mt. Orab; grandmother, Wanita Washburn of Bainbridge and grandmother, Dorothy Luman of Hillsboro; several uncles, aunts, cousins and a host of friends.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Saturday, June 12 at the Thompson Funeral Home in Hillsboro with Robert Nicely officiating. Burial will follow in the Roads Cemetery.
Friends may call Friday from 5-8 p.m. at the Thompson Funeral Home in Hillsboro.
