Rhett William Stark, 19, of Warrensburg, Mo., formerly of Greenfield, died Thursday, March 11, 2010 in Sedalia, Mo.
He was born Sept. 26, 1990 in Columbia, S.C., the son of Rodney Wayne Stark and Kathy (Jacobs) Stark.
He was employed as a forklift driver at Menard’s in Sedalia, Mo. and was a 2009 graduate of the Edward Lee McClain High School. He was an avid hunter, fisherman, outdoorsman, and sportsman. He was a member of the Greenfield First United Methodist Church.
He is survived by his parents, Rodney (Kathy) Stark of Greenfield; two sisters, Holley (Rodney) Rehkop of Warrensburg, Mo. and Rebekah Stark of Greenfield; two brothers: Jeffrey Scott (Bianca) Ritenour of Ramstein AB, Germany and Ryan (Andrea) Stark of Ward, Ark.; a niece, Addison Stark; three nephews, Jacob Ritenour, Levi Strong, and Layne Strong; grandparents Russell and Evelyn Jacobs, Jr. of New Holland, Ohio, Dennis and Mary Threlkeld, Monticello, Ark., and Richard Stark of Fallon, Nev.; great-grandmother Donna Jacobs of Washington C.H., Ohio; two aunts, Kim Jacobs, Louisville, Ky. and Terri (Gary) Wayman of Dewitt, Ark.; two uncles, Russell Stark and Darren Threlked, both of Monticello, Ark.; and best friend Jordan Ralph of Greenfield.
He was preceded in death by his great-grandfather, Russell Jacobs; great-grandmother, Flossie Glynn and great-grandfather, Guy Stark.
Service will be held 1 p.m. Thursday, March 18, 2010 at the Greenfield First United Methodist Church with Rev. McClellan Reed Nicholson officiating. Burial will follow at the Greenfield Cemetery. A visitation will be held 4-8 p.m. Wednesday, March 17, 2010 at the Murray-Fettro Funeral Home in Greenfield.
