Ralph Jamison, Jr., 82, of Peebles, passed away Sunday, Oct. 24, 2010 at University of Cincinnati Hospital.

He was born in Leavenworth, Kan. on July 24, 1928, the son of the late Byron and Dorothy (Tennyson) Jamison, Sr.

Ralph attended Louden Community Church.
He is survived by his wife Mildred (Carroll) Jamison of Peebles, whom he married on May 8, 1954; two sons, Ronnie of Hillsboro and David Jamison of Peebles; two daughters and sons-in-law, Bernice and Steve Vest of Peebles and Beverly and Sammy Humphrey of Latham; two brothers, Bob and Norman Jamison, both of Platt City, Mo.; 14 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren. 

Funeral services will be held on Friday, Oct. 29, 2010 at 1 p.m. at the Wallace-Thompson Funeral Home in Peebles with Wayne Adams officiating. Burial will follow in Dunkard Ridge Cemetery. Friends may call on Thursday from 6-8 p.m. at the Wallace-Thompson Funeral Home in Peebles.
