Ralph Anthony “Tony” Michael age 58 of Columbus, Ohio died Friday Dec. 31, 2010 at the Kobacker House in Columbus. He was born July 29, 1952 in Camp Polk, La., the son of Ralph and Joyce J. Thomas Michael.  
He was an independent contractor, a 1970 graduate of Hillsboro High School and attended The Ohio State University. He was preceded in death by his mother, Joyce J. Michael on March 28, 1991. 
He is survived by his wife, Janet Berry Michael; three children, Derek and Bryan Michael of Columbus and Krista
Koehl of Oregon; his father, Ralph (Billie) Michael of Hillsboro; one sister, Tami Nash of Westerville; and his best friends, Otis and Lucy.
Graveside services will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 8,  at the Barker Cemetery. There will be no visitation.
