Peachie Mabel Eubanks, 90, of Leesburg, died Sunday afternoon, Aug. 1, 2010 at Hearth and Care in Greenfield.
She was born March 16, 1920, in Brush Creek Twp., Adams County, a daughter of the late Joseph William and Etha Esten (Dixon) McDaniel.
She had attended the Leesburg Friends Church.
She is survived by a daughter, Shirley (fiancé Michael Champion) Ford of Orlando, Fla.; four grandchildren, Tony Wayne (Cindy) Gall of Deland, Florida; Sherry Lynn (Michael) Johnson of St. Cloud, Fla.; Craig Allan (Amy) Gall of Leesburg, Fla.; and Charles Edward (Naomi) Ford of Orlando; nine great-grandchildren, Sabrina (J.R.) Stubbs; Michael Johnson, Jr.; Shannon Johnson; Candy (Sean) Campbell; Mackenzie Gall; Madison Gall; Sean Gall; Shannon Gall; and Edward Ford; a great-great-granddaughter, Bailey Stubbs; a sister, Icy Strevel of Greenfield, as well as many nieces, nephews and friends.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 26 years, Shelby Ray Eubanks, who passed away Aug. 25, 1966; three brothers, Earnest McDaniel, George McDaniel, Floyd McDaniel, and two sisters, Inez Knisley and Florence McDaniel.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 5, 2010 at the Turner Funeral Home in Leesburg. Pastor John Fitzgerald will officiate. Burial will follow in the Highland Cemetery. Friends may call from 5-7 p.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 4, at the Turner Funeral Home in Leesburg.
