Pauline P. Poole, 103, of Greenfield, died Monday, Sept. 27, 2010 at the Laurels of Hillsboro.

She was born Feb. 4, 1907 in Mineral Springs, Ohio, the daughter of the late Erastus and Rosetta (Dievers) Jones.

She retired from the Candelite Corp., Leesburg.

She is survived by seven sons, Avadore Poole of South Salem, Joseph (Marge) Poole, Jr. of Hawaii, Delbert Poole of Florida, Shelby Poole of Greenfield, Roger Poole of Greenfield, Lamond (Hazel) Poole of South Salem, and Travis (Kathy) Poole of Florida; two daughters, Priscilla (Bill) Jones of Oklahoma and Judith (Bob) Rhoads of Peebles; and an estimated 290 grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sons, Lionel and Rome Poole; a daughter, Shirley Clay; and four sisters and two brothers.

Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Friday, Oct. 1, 2010 at Anderson-Strueve Funeral Home, Greenfield. The Rev. Wayne Combs will officiate, and burial will follow in the Greenfield Cemetery.

Friends may call at the funeral home 4-8 p.m. Thursday.
