Nellie Ann Shelton, 91, of Hillsboro, died Thursday, Nov. 11, 2010 at the Laurels Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Hillsboro.

She was born Nov. 18, 1918 in Mt. Orab.

She had been a member of the Danville Church of Christ.

She is survived by five daughters, Dora Ann Campbell of Dalton, Ga., Barbara Gillum of Russellville, Eunice Jo (Gerald Swaney) Shelton of Hillsboro, Deborah Kay Shelton of Lynchburg, and Linda Faye (Rick) Reno of Chillicothe; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Hanson Shelton on Jan. 1, 1967; daughter Mary Ann Watkins; and son Hanson K. Shelton.

Graveside funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 17, 2010 at the Confidence Cemetery in Georgetown. Visitation will be private at the convenience of the family.

The Turner & Son Funeral Home, Hillsboro, is serving the family.
