Naomi C. Greene, 86, of Greenfield, died Wednesday, Dec. 8, 2010 at Edgewood Manor of Greenfield.

She was born March 8, 1924 in Bethel, the daughter of the late Wesley Wellington Gragg and Effie Dell (Alexander) Gragg.

She retired from the U.S. Shoe Corporation after 45 years of employment.

She is survived by several nieces and nephews; and two sisters, Goldie McDaniels of Greenfield and Ivy Gragg of California.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Edward Carl Greene, on Oct. 24, 2005; five sisters, Delphia Stratton, Violet Kennedy, Fredia Shanks, Charlotte Griffith, and Bernice Meador; and four brothers, Eldon Gragg, Orley Gragg, Arthur Gragg, and Walter Gragg.

Services will be held 11 a.m. Monday, Dec. 13, 2010 at the Murray-Fettro Funeral Home of Greenfield with Pastor Robert  Chroninger officiating. Burial will follow at the Greenlawn Cemetery of Frankfort. A visitation will be held 1-4 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 12, 2010.
