Nancy Helen Creek, 90, of Hillsboro died Saturday, Feb. 6, 2010 at the Logan Acres Care Center in Bellefontaine.
She was born March 14, 1919 in Scioto, County, the daughter of the late Joseph Richard and Sarah Susie (Oppy) Thompson.
Mrs. Creek had retied from RobertShaw in Hillsboro after 31 years of service and had also worked for Home Health Nursing for 17 years.
She was a member of the Samantha Freewill Baptist Church.
She is survived by three sons, George (Barbara) Thompson of Hillsboro, Raymond (Mary) Thompson of Hillsboro and Larry Creek of Hillsboro; one daughter-in-law, Brenda Creek of Bellefontaine; 15 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; nine great-great-grandchildren; one sister, Dorothy Davis of Hillsboro; one brother, Ora (June) Thompson of Hillsboro; one sister-in-law, Cora Thompson of Highland; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one son, Ora Creek; five brothers, Earl, Ralph, Richard, Carey and James Thompson; and one sister, Margaret Davis.
Services will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 10 at the Samantha Freewill Baptist Church. The Rev. Wiley B. Perkins will officiate.
Burial will follow in the Hillsboro Cemetery.
Friends may call on Tuesday from 4-8 p.m. at the Samantha Freewill Baptist Church.
