Mary Kennedy, 91, of Belfast, passed away Friday, March 19, 2010 at Eagle Creek Nursing Home.
She was born in Adams County, Ohio on Nov. 9, 1918, the daughter of the late Roy and Ida Olive (Cornelius) Wylie.
Mary was a member of the Tranquility Community Church.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Jess Ruark; second husband, Robert Kennedy; two brothers, Marlin Wylie and Maurice Wylie; and infant grandson, Jeremiah Ruark.
She is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Gary and Carla Ruark of Belfast; one sister and brother-in-law, Martha and Allen Pence of Winchester; two sisters-in-laws, Pat Wylie of West Union and Dora Wylie of Rolla, Mo.; four grandsons, Jess and Andrea Ruark of Independence, Mo., James Ruark of Black Oak, Ky., Danny and Whitney Ruark of Belfast, and Ben and Katy Ruark of Belfast; four great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, March 23, 2010 at 1 p.m. at Tranquility Community Church with Pastor Troy Dotson officiating. Burial will follow in Tranquility Cemetery.
Friends may call on Monday from 6-8 p.m. at the Wallace-Thompson Funeral Home, Lewis-Sullivan Chapel in Seaman.
