Mary Jane Rhonemus, 86, of Lynchburg died Monday, Feb. 1, 2010 at the Wilmington Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
She was born Dec. 21, 1923 in Lynchburg, Ohio, the daughter of the late Hamer and Edith Sinclair Taylor.
She is survived by two sons, Neil (Diane) Rhonemus and Edward (Linda) Rhonemus of Lynchburg; six grandchildren, Julie (Todd) Christy, David (Ruth) Rhonemus, Stacie (Jason) McKee, Chester (Christy) Rhonemus, Lucas Rhonemus and Lisa Rhonemus; and eight great-grandchildren, Hailey Rose Rhonemus, Erin Rhonemus, Taryn Christy, Jacob Rhonemus, Emma Rhonemus, Eddie Rhonemus, Nathan and Zach Smith.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Chester Rhonemus on Aug. 10, 1970; two sisters, Opal Lyle
and Josephine Turvey; one half-sister, Margaret Rooks and one half-brother, George Taylor.
Services will be held 1 p.m. Friday, Feb. 5th at the Davis-Turner Funeral Home in Lynchburg. Rev. William Fenker, pastor of St. Mark's Lutheran Church in Milford, Ohio, will officiate. Burial will follow in the Martinsville I.O.O.F. Cemetery. Friends may call on Friday, Feb. 5th from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. at the Davis-Turner Funeral Home in Lynchburg.
