Margaret K. Johnson, 84, of Hillsboro, died Saturday, Dec. 5, 2010 at Crestwood Nursing Center of Hillsboro.

She was born Dec. 28, 1925 in Bourbon County, Ky., the daughter of the late Shay and Sally (White) Johnson.

She was a homemaker and loved cooking and spending time with her family, especially at family reunions.

She is survived by two daughters, Joyce (Charles) Faulconer of Hillsboro and Teresa Grimsley of Rainsboro; three grandsons, Scott (Cathy) Faulconer of Greenfield, Craig (Amy) Faulconer of New Petersburg, and Wade Grimsley of Rainsboro; eight great-grandchildren, Justin, Taylor, Kaitlyn, Morgan, Ran, Sam, Mallory, and Maysun; one brother, Virgil (Sally) Johnson of Circleville; six sisters, Elizabeth Hicks of Massilon, Dora Lyons of Greenfield, Minnie Hawk of Hillsboro, Martha (Harry) Robinson of Chillicothe, Eula (Fred) Hicks of Chillicothe, and Joann (Mike) Duffy of Las Vegas, Nev.; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 59 years, Carl R. Johnson, on Dec. 29, 2004; an infant son, Eugene; a brother, Paul Johnson; sisters, Dorothy Chaney and Betty Jean Johnson; brothers and sisters-in-law; and nieces and nephews.

Services will be held 1 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 9, 2010 at the Murray-Fettro Funeral Home in Greenfield with Pastor Red Gallimore officiating. Burial will follow in the Greenlawn Cemetery in Frankfort. Visitation will be held from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Crestwood Nursing Center Activity Fund, 141 Willettsville Pike, Hillsboro, Ohio 45133.
