Margaret Hurles, 97, formerly of Greenfield, died Friday, Nov. 6, 2009 at the Laurels of Hillsboro.
She was born Nov. 28, 1911 in Bainbridge, Ohio, to the late Frank and Stella (Walley) Pryor.
She was formerly employed at American Pad and Textile Co. of Greenfield, the Wright-Patterson Air Force Base of Fairborn, and the National Cash Register Co. of Washington C.H. She was a member of the Church of Christ in Christian Union.
She was married to William Willett on July 2, 1928, who preceded her in death in Aug. 1948, and William Hurles on July 15, 1956, who preceded her in death on Oct. 6, 1966.
She is survived by two sons, Elmer "Bus" (Shirley) Willett of Hillsboro and Fred "Sam" Jean Willett of Greenfield; six grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and 12 great-great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two daughters, Juanita Ruth Willett and Majorie Seigwald; a grandson, John Willett, five brothers; and four sisters.
A graveside service will be held at the convenience of the family at Greenfield Cemetery. Calling hours will not be observed.
Anderson-Strueve Funeral Home of Greenfield is serving the family.
