Lynn Counter, 78, of Greenfield, passed away Saturday, March 8, 2025 at home. 
 
She was born Oct. 3, 1946 in Wilmington, the daughter of Dale R. and Kathleen (Morris) Minton.
 
Lynn was a 1964 graduate of Wilmington High School and was active with the Greene Countrie Towne Festival, G3, Y-Gradale, Mother’s Club, and McClain Football Moms. 
 
She was formerly employed as a receptionist at Johnson Controls and Weastec for many years.
 
She is survived by her husband, Richard J. Counter, whom she married on July 21, 1973; one daughter, Delinda (Andrew) Bonkosky of Pinckney, Mich., and one son, Scott (Mercedes) Counter of Dublin; three sisters, Laura Davis of Beavercreek; Lou Ann (Steve) Beem of Columbus, Ind.; and Lois Minton of Cincinnati; and several nieces and nephews. 
 
She was preceded in death by both parents; and her niece, Jennifer Davis Pate. 
 
Cremation will take place, with a memorial service to be held at a later date.

The family wishes to express their appreciation to Adena Hospice.
