Luther Smalley, 72, of Bainbridge, passed away Tuesday, Nov. 9, 2010 at Pike Community Hospital.

He was born in Peebles on May 9, 1938, the son of the late Everett and Hannah (Johnson) Smalley.
Luther was a U.S. Army Veteran and a member of the N.R.A.
He is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Eldon and Janet Smalley of Bainbridge; four brothers, Bill, Dwight, Larry, and Winston Smalley, all of Peebles; one sister, Naomi Adkins of Peebles; a special friend, Judy Leeth of Bainbridge; and several nieces and nephews. 

Funeral services will be held on Friday, Nov. 12, 2010 at 1 p.m. at the Wallace-Thompson Funeral Home in Peebles with Dave Hopkins officiating. Military rites will be given by the Adams County Honor Guard. Burial will follow in Cedar Fork Cemetery.

Friends may call on Friday from 10 a.m. till 1 p.m. at the Wallace-Thompson Funeral Home in Peebles.
