Loyd Lester Yoho, 98, of Hillsboro, died Saturday, Oct. 2, 2010 at the Laurels of Hillsboro.

He was born in Neffs, Ohio on April 7, 1912, the son of the late George Thomas and Ruthie (McHenry) Yoho.

He was a retired Operating Engineer/ Heavy Equipment Operator.

Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Shirlee Ann (Bester) Yoho on Sept. 6, 1985; one daughter, Ruth Witt; and six brothers.

He is survived by one daughter, Vonda (Grover) Epperson; two brothers, Howard Yoho of Centerville and Mason Yoho of West Lafayette, Ohio; one sister, Helen Henson of Dayton, four grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, Oct. 11, 2010 at 7:30 p.m. at the Thompson Funeral Home and Cremation Service with Pastor Don Young officiating. Graveside services will follow on Tuesday at 10:00 a.m. at the North Monroe Cemetery at Monroe, Ohio in Butler County.

Friends may call on Monday evening from 6 p.m. -7:30 p.m. at the Funeral Home.
