Loretta (Skiver) Hansgen, 83, of Peebles, died Wednesday, Dec. 29, 2010 at her residence.
She was born in Scioto County, on Nov. 6, 1927, the daughter of the late Thomas and Inez (Barnhart) Skiver.
She is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Ron and Cindy of West Union and Tim and Erin Hansgen of Bradley, Ill.; one daughter and son-in-law, Jane and Roger Butts of Hillsboro; one brother, Jack Skiver of West Virginia; three sisters, Diane Rice, Evelyn Skiver, and Kat Skiver all of Portsmouth; and four grandchildren.
Services will be held on Sunday, Jan. 2, 2011 at 2 p.m. at the Wallace-Thompson Funeral Home in Peebles with Dave Hopkins officiating. Burial will follow in Locust Grove Cemetery.
Friends may call on Sunday from noon-2 p.m. at the Wallace-Thompson Funeral Home in Peebles.
