Linda Lou Foster

Linda Lou Foster, 76, passed way Sunday, June 22, 2025.

She was born May 21, 1949 in East Monroe, the daughter of the late Burnice A. and Lily M. (Shoemaker) Frye. 

Linda attended Fairfield High School, received her GED from SSCC and went on to take classes toward her LPN degree. She worked in healthcare and was a manager of the Hallmark Store on West Main in Hillsboro. She also worked retail in Super X in Martins Ferry. Linda enjoyed music and played the guitar. She spent her time making arts and crafting for her friends and neighbors. 

Linda is survived by her daughter, Lora Jean (Steve) Morgan; sons, Jerry (Ann) Edwards, Jr. and Timothy (Melissa) Frye; eight beautiful grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; a brother, David (Lori) Frye; and a sister, Carol Davidson. 

Besides her parents, she was also preceded in death by her brother, John A. Frye.

Graveside services will be 11 a.m. Friday June 27 in the Hightop Cemetery in Samantha.
