LeeAnn Van Winkle, 75, of Leesburg, died Thursday, June 17, 2010 at Highland District Hospital.  
She was born March 20, 1935 in Highland, the daughter of the late Roy A. and Maude Wright Winegar, Sr.
  She had worked in the office of the Maynard Smith Insurance Agency for many years.  
She is survived by two children, Peggi Van Winkle, and Brad Van Winkle, both of Leesburg; three grandsons, Nathan Van Winkle, Pat Washburn, and Ben Morgan, all of Leesburg; great-grandsons Conner Fry and Colten Morgan; very special friends, Trudie Van Scyoc, Trish Storts, Lori Fry, and Michelle Henize; sister Rosemary (Paul) Henson of Leesburg; and brother Andy (Rosie) Winegar of Wilmington.  
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Marion “Whitey” Van Winkle, on Jan. 9, 1998.  
Graveside funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Monday, June 21 at the Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Leesburg.  
Visitation will be private at the convenience of the family. 
The Turner Funeral Home, Leesburg, is serving the family.
