Kevin D. Arledge
Kevin D. Arledge, 74, of Hillsboro, passed away peacefully Monday, Sept. 14, 2026, at his home surrounded by his loving family.
He was born Sept. 22, 1951, in Hillsboro, the son of the late Joseph Earl and Mary Margaret (Perrin) Arledge.

Kevin proudly served his country in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. He worked as a supervisor at Buckeye Molding for several years and later worked for Weastec Inc. and retired after 25 years. During his retirement, Kevin enjoyed working in the firearms department at Town and Country Store.
Kevin was a member of the Carpenter’s House of Prayer. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather who cherished the time he spent with his family. He will be remembered by his family and friends for the many years of love, memories, and time they shared together.
On March 27, 1970, Kevin married Clara A. Smith, and together they shared 56 years of marriage. He is survived by his wife, Clara; two daughters, Melinda (Larry) Johnson of West Union and Denise (Randall) Adams of Leesburg; four grandchildren, Shelby (Erik) Riley, Skyler Johnson, Sophia Johnson and Katelyne (Matthew) Bryant; five great-grandchildren, Elowyn Riley, Isla Riley, Kallum Riley, Stetson Johnson and Samson Johnson; one brother, Wayne Arledge of Hillsboro; special brother-in-law, Otha Brian Smith of Hillsboro; and several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
In addition to his parents, Kevin was preceded in death by one sister, Edith McClure; and one brother, Larry Arledge.
Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Friday, Sept. 18 at the Turner & Son Funeral Home. Burial, with military honors presented by the Highland County Veterans Honor Guard, will follow in Hightop Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 5-8 p.m. Thursday at the Turner & Son Funeral Home.
