Kevin D. Chambers, 48, of Hillsboro, died Saturday morning, Dec. 12, 2009 at the University of Cincinnati Medical Center.
He was born March 24, 1961 in Youngstown, Ohio, the son of Donald V. Chambers of Hillsboro and the late Barbara L. Brooks Chambers.
Mr. Chambers was employed by Net Reserves working at Candle-Lite in Leesburg. He was a member of and presently serving as the Secretary-Treasurer of the Highland County Antique Machinery Club and he had also served on the Hillsboro City Council.
In addition to his father, he is survived by his wife, Diane Gibson Chambers, whom he had married on June 5, 1993 in Gatlinburg, Tenn.; two sons, Guy D. Chambers and Isaac G. Chambers of Hillsboro; one step-son, Michael Kelley of Hillsboro; two sisters, Kathleen (Bridget McCay) O'Connor of Ft. Mitchell, Ky. and Kristine (Kraig) Walker of Hillsboro; one brother, Keith (Carol) Chambers of Hillsboro; and several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
Services will be held 11 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 17 at the Turner & Son Funeral Home in Hillsboro. Kraig Walker and Father Mike Paraniuk will officiate. Burial will follow in St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery in Hillsboro. Friends may call on Wednesday from 5-8 p.m. at the Turner & Son Funeral Home in Hillsboro.
