Kathy Sue Smith, 49, of Greenfield, died unexpectedly Monday, Nov. 23, 2009 at Greenfield Area Medical Center.
She was born Aug. 21, 1960, in Greenfield to the late Gerald E. and Lois Maxine (Elliott) Smith.
She graduated from McClain High School in 1978.
She is survived by her companion of 20 years, Joseph Matlack, and her sister, Lois Young, of Bainbridge.
A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 2, 2009 at the Anderson-Strueve Funeral Home with Carole Ford officiating. Burial of the cremains will follow in Greenfield Cemetery.
