Junior Hilterbran

     Junior Hilterbran, 85, of Hillsboro, passed away Wednesday, June 23, 2010 at Crestwood Nursing Home.
     He was born in Adams County, Ohio on June 22, 1925, the son of the late Layton and Anna (Swayne) Hilterbran.
     Junior was a U.S. Marine Veteran of World War II.
     Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Anna (McCalla) Hilterbran, who passed away on Feb. 15, 1995. 
     He is survived by one son, Bruce Hilterbran of Pensacola, Fla.; two daughters, Cathie Cooper of Grove City and Teresa Hiser of Mt. Orab; one brother; Jack Hilterbran of Peebles; and two sisters; Ruby Gillety of New Holland, Ohio and Joan Hooker of Peebles. 
     Funeral services will be held on Monday, June 28, 2010 at 1 p.m. at the Wallace-Thompson Funeral Home in Peebles with Dave Hopkins officiating. Burial will follow in Locust Grove Cemetery with military graveside services given by the Adams County Honor Guard.
     Friends may call on Monday from 11 a.m. till 1 p.m. at the Wallace-Thompson Funeral Home in Peebles.
