June V. Hunt, 89, of Hillsboro, died Monday, Dec. 28, 2009 at her residence.
She was born April 28, 1920 in Worcester, Mass., the daughter of the late Frank and Harriet Rice. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Ernest Ralph Hunt; a son, Allen Dean Hunt; a brother, Grant Rice; and a grandson, Stevie Lynn Royster.
She is survived by four sons, Ernest Ralph Hunt, Jr., of Hillsboro, Harold Lee Hunt of Hillsboro, Stephen Richard Hunt of Bainbridge, and Rex Everett Hunt of Hillsboro; one daughter, Betty Jean Royster of Latham; 12 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; and great-great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Hunt was a former employee of Robert Shaw Controls in Hillsboro.
Services will be held at the Wylie-Thompson Funeral Home in Sinking Spring on Thursday, Dec. 31 at 2 p.m. with Pastor Greg Roberts officiating. Burial will follow at Westwood Cemetery.
Friends may call on Wednesday, Dec. 30, from 5-8 p.m. at Wylie-Thompson Funeral Home.
