     Judith Purdin, 71, of Hillsboro, died Friday, Aug. 13, 2010 at her residence.
     She was born July 19, 1939 in Ross County, the daughter of Robert E. Reeves and Grace Olive (Cartwright) Reeves.
     She was a former employee of Edgewood Manor of Greenfield and a member of F.O.E. #1325.
     She is survived by a sister, Evelyn Tom, of Hillsboro; two brothers, David (Cheryl) Elliott of South Salem and James R. (Susie) Reeves of Greenfield; special friend, Tanya (James) Birkhimer of Hillsboro; and several nieces and nephews.
     She was preceded in death by her husband, Albert Purdin, on Sept. 17, 2003; and one infant daughter.
     There will be no visitation. Graveside services will be held 1 p.m. Friday, Aug. 20, 2010 in South Salem Cemetery.
     The Murray-Fettro Funeral Home of Greenfield is serving the family.
