Jason Anthony Wingo, 31, of Chillicothe, died Sunday, Dec. 19, 2010 as the result of an automobile accident near Frankfort, Ohio.

He was born July 17, 1979 in Chillicothe, the son of Wayne Anthony Wingo and Alice Gwen (Leeth) Wilson.

He was an employee of Yusa Corporation in Washington C.H. and a graduate of Adena High School.

He is survived by his mother and stepfather, Alice and James Wilson of Chillicothe; his stepmother, Nancy Wingo of Chillicothe, two stepchildren, Talisha Pettiford and Trey Dunkle, both of Chillicothe; one brother, Joseph "John" (Kimberly) Glover of Troy; one sister, Gwen (Richard "Todd") Hesson of Bloomingburg; stepbrothers and sisters, Jenelle Hohman of Findlay, Tiffany Knight of Bloomingburg, PV II James Trevor Wilson of Ft. Leonard Wood, Mo., Anthony Baird, Rama Driggs, Catrena Driggs, and David Driggs; two uncles, Roger (Michelle) Leeth of Leesburg and Randall Leeth of Frankfort; three aunts, Judith Burgess of Owensville, Mo., Jean Wingo of Chillicothe, and Laura Wingo of Chillicothe; numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins; and special friend Cheryl Seymour of Kingston, Ohio.

He was preceded in death by his father, Wayne Anthony Wingo; and his grandparents, Warner and Elwanda Wingo and Howard "Dale" and Anna Leeth.

In accordance with Jason's wishes, cremation will take place, and then there will be a memorial service at 7 p.m. Monday, Dec. 27, 2010 at the Murray-Fettro Funeral Home in Greenfield. Burial will take place at Greenlawn Cemetery in Frankfort at the convenience of the family. Visitation will be 4-7 p.m. Monday, Dec. 27, 2010.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the family, in care of the Murray-Fettro Funeral Home, 380 Jefferson Street, Greenfield, Ohio 45123.
