James Kimbal “Kim” Barker

James Kimbal “Kim” Barker, age 73 of Blue Creek, passed away Tuesday, May 27, 2025. 

He was born May 25, 1952 in Wilmington, to Carolyn (Hawk) and the late James R. Barker. 

Survivors include his mother, Carolyn Morris of Hillsboro; stepmother, Judy Barker of Hillsboro; wife, Joy Barker of Blue Creek; sons, Bronson Barker and Kenni of Sardinia and Ryan Barker of Sardinia; a brother, Frank Barker and Michelle of Lynchburg; grandchildren, Celeste Barker and Kenzi Barker. 

In addition to his father, he was also preceded in death by his stepfather, Jack Morris.

Following cremation, a memorial service will be held Saturday, July 19 at 1 p.m. at 2346 Kay Road Sardinia. All friends and family please feel free to bring pictures and stories. Food will be supplied by the family.
