     Golda M. Mullenix, 93, of Hillsboro, died Wednesday, June 2 at Highland District Hospital. 
     She was born in Highland County on Feb. 28, 1917, the daughter of the late Stanley and Myrtle (Harvey) Frost. 
     Mrs. Mullenix worked for the Hercules Pants Factory for several years and was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Hillsboro.
     On Aug. 29, 1938 she married Vernon Charles Mullenix, who died on Apr. 21, 1990. Besides her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a son, Gary Mullenix; a grandson, Kenneth Nathaniel Mullenix; a brother, Wilbur Frost; a sister, Mildred Gibson; a step-sister, Leondus Johnson; and a daughter-in-law, Sondra Sue Mullenix. 
     She is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Roger and Linda Mullenix and Kenneth and Carole Mullenix, all of Hillsboro; a daughter and son-in-law, Patty and Omer Price, Jr., of Hillsboro; one half-brother, Homer Frost, of Hillsboro; one half-sister, Betty Jean Faulkner, of Chillicothe; a sister-in-law, Betty Frost of Hillsboro; 12 grandchildren, Scott (Jeannie) Mullenix, Benjamin (Pamela) Mullenix, Brian (Robin) Price, Doug (Kelli) Price, Chad Price, Beth Mullenix, Dena Mullenix, Reuben (Heather) Mullenix, Charlyse (Kirk) Mikulec, Denise (Mike) Bocks, Terris (Jackie) Mullenix, and Travis (Rosie) Mullenix; and several great-grandchildren.
     Pastor Bob Hottle officiated graveside services on Saturday, June 5th at 11 a.m. at the Hillsboro Cemetery. There will be no visitation.
     The Thompson Funeral Home is in charge of arrangments.
