Glenn William Creditt, 77, of Lynchburg, died early Thursday morning, Aug. 5, 2010 at the Laurels in Hillsboro. 
He was born April 22, 1933 near Pricetown, the son of the late Albert Earl and Emma Florence Roush Creditt. Creditt had worked as a heavy equipment operator for the Ohio Department of Transportation, serving five counties, for over thirty–two years. He served in the U. S. Army as a member of the 101st Airborne Rangers during the Korean War. He was a member of the Hillsboro Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie 1161.
He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Ann Beatty Creditt, one daughter, Michelle (Darin) Dye of Lynchburg, three sons, Steve Creditt of Lynchburg, Tim (Kim) Creditt of Eastgate and Mike (Lori) Creditt of Lynchburg, nine grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, two stepgreat-grandchildren, one brother, Earl (Norma) Creditt of Hillsboro and two nephews, Rick and Terry Creditt of Dayton. 
Services will be held 11 a.m. Monday, Aug. 9 at the Davis-Turner Funeral Home in Lynchburg. Larry Herdman will officiate. Burial will follow with military honors presented by the Highland County Honor Guard in the Barnes Cemetery. Friends may call on Sunday from 3 p.m. until 6 p.m. at the Davis-Turner Funeral Home in Lynchburg. 
Memorial contributions may be made to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation Headquarters, 6931 Arlington Road Bethesda, MD 20814.
