Gladys C. McKeever, 84, of Washington C.H., Ohio, died Saturday, Oct. 24, 2009 at Court House Manor in Washington C.H.
She was born Oct. 10, 1925 to the late Clement E. and Ethel (Beekman) Knisley. On April 5, 1974, she married Paul McKeever, who died Nov. 13, 1978.
She is survived by her children, Joseph (Peggy) Palmer of Washington C.H., Ronald (Sharon) Palmer of Sabina, Jeff (Pat) Roe of Chillicothe, Betty (Dennis) Mitchell of London, and Jerry Roe of Grove City; step-children, Harold (Patty) McKeever of Texas, Paul McKeever, Jr., of Teaxas, and Jim McKeever of Washington C.H.; 12 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren; sisters Betty Hux of Washington C.H., Kathryn Joslin of Washington C.H., Donna Sanders of Washington C.H., and Annie Rader of Florida; and brother Edward Knisley of Washington C.H.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Jim Knisley; three sisters, Mildred Jones, Hannah Stocker, and Mary Alice Knisley; and her step-mother, Thelma Knisley.
Funeral service was held Tuesday, Oct. 27, 2009 at Anderson-Strueve Funeral Home, Greenfield. The Rev. Ralph Hux officiated, and burial followed in Greenfield Cemetery.
