Garry Andrew Sagar, 34, of Columbus, died Sunday, Feb. 28, 2010 in Columbus.
He was born April 2, 1975 in Chillicothe, the son of Judith (Sagar) Grooms.
He was a former employee of Greenfield Research and of ABX Air Inc. of Wilmington.
He is survived by his mother, Judith (Sagar) Grooms, of Washington C.H.; one brother, Robert Ray (Aubrey) Martin of Grove City; two sisters, Mindy Jo Grooms of Orlando, Fla. and Jamie Lynn Grooms of Washington C.H.; grandmother, Margaret Sagar of Greenfield; two step-grandmothers, Hazel Long of Jeffersonville and Ruth Sagar of Greenfield; two uncles, Randy (Karen) Sagar of West Virginia and Michael Lane Sagar of Greenfield; two aunts, Tammy Landrum and Tina (Sid) Charles, both of Greenfield; a niece, Laila Martin; a nephew, Trey Martin; and several cousins.
He was preceded in death by his stepfather, Anthony Grooms; his grandfather, Milton M. Sagar, Jr.; and his step-grandfather, Neal Long.
Services will be held 7 p.m. Wednesday, March 3 at the Murray-Fettro Funeral Home in Greenfield with Pastor Joe Current officiating. Burial will be in the Greenfield Cemetery at the convenience of the family. A visitation will be held 4-7 p.m. Wednesday, March 3.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the family in care of the Murray-Fettro Funeral Home, 380 Jefferson Street, Greenfield, Ohio 45123.
