Freda Roberts, 88, of Seaman, passed away Wednesday, April 28, 2010 at Adams County Regional Medical Center.
She was born in Scioto County, Ohio on March 31, 1922, the daughter of the late Frank and Mary (Jamison) Chaboude.
Freda attended Mt. Calvary Church.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Roberts, who passed away on May 22, 2001; one daughter, Ruth Ann Walker; three brothers, Jesse, Ralph, and Everett Chaboude; two sisters, Bernice Romy and Carrie Shiltz; one grandson; and one great-granddaughter. 
She is survived by three sons and daughters-in-law, Richard and Rosellen Roberts of Winchester, Russell and Dee Roberts of Seaman, and Donald and Sandra Roberts of Hillsboro; a son-in-law, Larry Walker of Hillsboro; one sister; Betty Wade of Massillon, Ohio; nine grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. 
Funeral services were held Sunday, May 2, 2010 at 1 p.m. at the Wallace-Thompson Funeral Home, Lewis-Sullivan Chapel in Seaman with Rodney Tumbleson officiating. Burial followed in Calvary Cemetery.
Friends called on Saturday from 5-7 p.m. at the Wallace-Thompson Funeral Home, Lewis-Sullivan Chapel in Seaman.
Memorials may be made to the donor's favorite charity.
