     Freda L. Creed, 81, of Leesburg, died Saturday, June 12, 2010 at the Highland District Hospital.
     She was born in Highland County on Apr. 3, 1929, the daughter of William and Fern (Chaney) Igo. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Edward Creed, on Jan. 28, 1989; and two brothers, Harold and Lloyd Igo.
     She was a member of the Mt. Olive Church of Christ.
     She is survived by one son, Don Creed of Leesburg; three daughters, Donna Miller of Sabina, Connie (Mike) Boggs of Ringgold, Ga., and Carolyn Creed of Leesburg; six grandchildren, Chris & Tony Miller, David & Jennifer Boggs, and John & Paul Throckmorton; one brother, Hugh Igo of Florida; two sisters, Donna Huff and Mary Kelley, both of Leesburg; seven great-grandchildren and two step-great grandchildren.
     Funeral services will be held on Friday, June 18, 2010 at 1 p.m. at the Mt. Olive Church of Christ with Russell Leib officiating. Burial will follow in the Hightop Cemetery.
     Friends may call on Thursday evening from 5-8 p.m. at the Thompson Funeral Home in Hillsboro.
