Frances Davis, 79, of Hillsboro, died Monday, Dec. 14, 2009 at her residence.
She was born in Hillsboro, Ohio on March 10, 1930, the daughter of the late John and Frances (Lewis) Morris. 
She is survived by her husband Thomas E. "Gene" Davis, whom she married on December 22, 1951; one son, Robert E. Davis of Hillsboro; two daughters and sons-in-law, Mary L. and Ron Crase of Cincinnati and Patricia E. and Steven Hipsher of Wilmington; four brothers, John E. Morris of Hillsboro, Richard Morris of Hillsboro, Fred Morris of Hillsboro, and Franklin Morris of Lutz, Fla.; four sisters, Della Marie Tucker of Wilmington, Louise Davis of Hillsboro, Margaret Creamer of Hillsboro, and Charlotte Holt of Hillsboro; eight grandchildren, Kristy Cox, Nikki Turner, Jason Faul, Justin Faul, Tanya Davis, Josh Davis, Pam Smedley, and Dominic Hipsher; and several great-grandchildren.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother, Virgil Morris.
Graveside services will be held on Thursday, December 17, 2009 at 2 p.m. at the Maple Grove Cemetery at Port William, Ohio. There will be no visitation.
Thompson Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
