Frances (Caddell) McCleese, 79, of Peebles, passed away Monday, Feb. 15, 2010 at her residence.
She was born in Kentucky on March 25, 1930, the daughter of the late William and Dora (Cox) Caddell.
She is survived by her husband, Richard McCleese, Sr., of Peebles, whom she married on Nov. 7, 1953; two sons and daughter-in-law, Richard McCleese, Jr. of Peebles and Amos and Bonita McCleese of Peebles; five daughters and sons-in-law, Faith and Steve Mahorney of Mt. Sterling, Ky., Lillie and Terry McCann of New Vienna, Rachael Akers of Peebles, Carol and Roy Howard of Peebles, and Lois and Randy Storer of Hillsboro; one brother, Brad Caddell of Fla.; one sister, Ethel Caddell of Fla; 15 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, Feb. 18, 2010 at 1 p.m. at the Wallace-Thompson Funeral Home in Peebles with Dan Hughes and Shane Denney officiating. Burial will follow in Strait Creek Cemetery.
Friends may call on Thursday from 10 a.m. till 1 p.m. at the Wallace-Thompson Funeral Home in Peebles.
