Floyd Craft, Jr., 83, of Hillsboro, passed away Wednesday, May 5, 2010 at the Highland District Hospital.
He was born April 17, 1927 in Sciotoville, Ohio, the son of the late Floyd and Vivie (Gulley) Craft Sr. On Aug. 14, 1954, he married Juanita Shelton, who survives.
Mr. Craft was retired from Railway Express and also had worked as a real estate tax appraiser. He was also a U.S. Air Force veteran.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by one daughter, Pamela (Gary) McNamee; one son, Gary Craft; three granddaughters, Shawna Craft, Danielle (Caleb) Howard, Tess Parry; three grandsons, Jason (Kim) McNamee, Jeremy McNamee, and Brandon Howell; two great-grandchildren, Maya McNamee and Noah Howard; one brother, Larry Craft; and one sister, Nettie Runyon. Other survivors include three step-great-grandchildren, Isaac, Jasmine, and Jade, and several nieces & nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Jay Craft, and a grandson, Ryan Howell.
A graveside service at Hillsboro Cemetery will be held at a later date at the convenience of the family. If desired, memorial contributions may be directed to the Highland County Society for Children and Adults, 111 W. Walnut St. Hillsboro, OH 45133 in his memory.
