     Ferne Blevins, 93, of Lynchburg, died Wednesday evening, Aug. 11, 2010 at the Locust Ridge Nursing Home in Williamsburg.
     She was born May 2, 1917, in Levi, Ky., the daughter of the late Mark T. and Sarah E. (Farley) Price.
     She was a devoted and loving wife, mother and grandmother.
     She is survived by two children, Talton Blevins and his wife Theresa of Lynchburg and Donna Boler and her husband Joe of Mt. Orab; seven grandchildren, Kimberly Blevins of Lynchburg, Dustin (Jennifer) Blevins of Shelbyville, Ky., James Boler of Mt. Orab, Jeffrey (Monica) Boler of Mt. Orab, Amy (Jerrod) Etienne of Cynthiana, Ky., Rebecca Boler of Washington D.C., and Joseph (Erica) Boler of Mt. Orab; and nine great-grandchildren.
     In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Carl Blevins, who passed away in 1967; one sister, Louise Sutton; and three brothers, Leo Price, Kermit Price and Edward Price.
     Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 14, 2010 at the Davis-Turner Funeral Home in Lynchburg. Rev. J.L. Runk will officiate. Burial will follow in the Lynchburg Masonic Cemetery. Friends may call on Saturday from 11 a.m. until the time of the service at 1 p.m. at the funeral home.
