Ella Mae Brown, 89, of Hillsboro, died Wednesday, Feb. 10, 2010 at the Adams County Regional Medical Center. 
She was born April 27, 1920 in Magoffin County, Ky., the daughter of the late Woodlow and Julia Howard.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Carl Brown who died July 12, 1988; six brothers, Hanley, Lonzo, Graydon, Johnny, Woodlow and Charles Howard; and four sisters, Pearl Tucker, Ann Burns, Mae Sawicki, and Dorothy Williamson.
Mrs. Brown is survived by one brother, Monroe Howard of Albion, Mich., and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at the Thompson Funeral Home in Hillsboro on Saturday, Feb. 13, at 1 p.m. with Pastor Ellis Howard officiating. 
Friends may call at the Thompson Funeral Home prior to the funeral from 11 a.m.-1 p.m.
Burial will follow in the Mt. Orab cemetery.
The family requests memorials to Peace Lutheran Church, 211 Harry Sauner Rd. Hillsboro, Ohio 45133.
