Elizabeth Kathleen “Kathy” Lonicker, 60, of Hillsboro, died Tuesday, Oct. 26, 2010 at her home with her family by her side.
She was born Sept. 1, 1950 in Middletown, the daughter of Linley L. and Hazel Fletcher Wetzel.
She was a member of the New Life Church and Ministries and enjoyed traveling, camping, crafting, shopping, scrapbooking, and spending time in the mountains. The real joy in her life was her family and especially her grandchildren.
She is survived by her husband, Clyde Steven “Steve” Lonicker; mother Hazel Bond of Lakeland, Fla.; two daughters, Jennifer Stacey Nichole “Stacey” and her husband Richard “Rick” Horn of Liberty, Ind., and Kristie Madonna and her husband John L. Eckman of Lebanon; two grandchildren, Ashley Nicole Horn and Brooklyne Skylar Eckman; a sister, Rebecca Bond of Houston, Texas; several nieces and nephews; and her dog, Charli.
She was preceded in death by her father, Linley Wetzel; two sisters, Debbie Mosby and Penny Netherly; and a brother, Rick Bond.
Memorial services will be held 5 p.m. Friday, Oct. 29, 2010 at the New Life Church and Ministries, 6101 State Route 247, Hillsboro, Ohio. Pastor Bill Bowman will officiate. Interment will take place privately at the convenience of the family. The family will receive friends from 4 p.m. until the time of service at 5 p.m. at the church.
