Elizabeth J. Ellison
Elizabeth J. Ellison, nee Hart, age 82, formerly of the Fairborn and Lynchburg area, died with her family at her side on Thursday, May 20, 2010, in St. Louis, Mo.
She was born July 5, 1927 in Fairview, to Archie and Pearl Taylor Hart. She graduated from Lynchburg High School, and was a homemaker and pre-school teacher.
She was preceded in death by her husband, William M. Ellison; and one son, Steven Christopher.
She is survived by two daughters, Lori Johannessen of Glen Carbon, Ill., and Carla Christopher of St. Louis, Mo.; one son, Curt Christopher of Bend, Ore.; three stepchildren, Pamela Ellison of Middletown, Hope Hawk, of Seattac, Wash., and Victor Ellison of southern Ohio. Also surviving are two sisters, Dorothy Davison, of Maldern, Mo., and Joye Newkirk, of Wilmington; 11 grandchildren,and a number of nieces and nephews.
A memorial service is scheduled for noon Saturday, July 10 at Wayside Chapel in Dayton, followed by a graveside service at 4:30 p.m. at the Barnes Cemetery in Fairview.
