Edna Lucille Johnson, 79, of Greenfield, passed away Thursday, June 26, 2025 at Greenfield Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation.
She was born on March 1, 1946 in Greenfield, the daughter of Harley and Juanita (Thompson) Miller.
Edna enjoyed cooking, sewing, family gatherings, and was of the Christian faith. She was a retired caretaker of veterans for 20-plus years and a former employee of Collins Meat Packing.
She is survived by her four sons, Randy (Beverly) Johnson of Navarre, Fla., Terry Johnson of Hillsboro, John Johnson (Vanessa Dodge) of Gulf Breeze, Fla., and David Johnson of Greenfield; three grandchildren, Leah (Corey) Brown, Randy Lee Johnson, II, and Kayla (Brian) Beekman; eight great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by one son, Jerry Lee “Dump” Johnson; one granddaughter, Chasity Johnson; three brothers, James, Tom and John Miller; two sisters, Marie Miller-Graham, Jane Miller; several nieces and nephews; former husband and father of her children, Greenberry Johnson; and both parents.
Funeral service will be 1 p.m. Tuesday, July 1 at the Murray-Fettro Funeral Home in Greenfield with Rev. Wayne Combs officiating. Burial will follow in the Greenfield Cemetery.
Visitation will be 11 a.m. until 1p.m. Tuesday, at the funeral home.
