     Earlene Carlile, 78, of Grove City, died Saturday, June 26, 2010 at Mount Carmel West Hospital in Columbus.
     She was born in Hillsboro on Feb. 9, 1932, the daughter of the late Earl G. and Mary R. (Reno) West. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother, Joseph W. West.
     She is survived by her husband, Jack Carlile, whom she married on Oct. 4, 1958; one daughter and son-in-law, Linda and Tom O’Brien of Grove City; two grandchildren, Erin (Bryan) Althaus of Grove City and Thomas P. O’Brien III of Grove City; one sister and brother-in-law, Lulu and James Grove of Hillsboro; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Hollis B. and Jacqueling Carlile of Bakersfield, Calif.; a sister-in-law, Deanna (George) Durham of Florida; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
     Memorial graveside services will be held on Wednesday, June 30, 2010 at 4 p.m. at the Auburn Cemetery with Mary Cyrus officiating. Thompson Funeral Home and Cremation Services is in charge of arrangements.
     Memorials may be made to the Auburn United Methodist Church in care of Ed Bates, 9944 Grabill Road, Hillsboro, Ohio 45133.
